Movement / dance / embodied practice

We create projects and facilitate activities that shift how we sense ourselves, each other and the worlds we inhabit.

We are a collective of four artists and curators, primarily producing movement, dance and performance that works at the edges of the mainstream. We hold a shared studio space, open to others for experimentation, participation and exchange. Several members of the collective also offer therapeutic and somatic work with individuals and groups.

Aims

01

Keep experimentation essential

Experimental forms challenge convention and open new possibilities for how movement is made and experienced.

02

Open up the field

We widen who is invited to perform, witness and participate, and work to dismantle barriers to taking part.

03

Support artists and ideas

We cultivate space for unfinished work, shared enquiry and artist-led exchange.

04

Begin with the body

Somatic attention helps us make work, meet difference and create powerful shared experiences.

Workshops and Events

Alongside our artistic programme, we are developing therapeutic and somatic work for individuals and groups, offered by practitioners connected to the collective. Current workshops are led primarily by Amy Voris and draw on experiential anatomy, movement improvisation and the mover-witness framework. New online and in-person opportunities will be posted here.
